Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
